i'm a little, ok - make that a lot sad tonight. sniff, sniff. i can't believe sloaney is off to "big kid" school tomorrow. i love my sweet girl - have i mentioned that? it will be hard (especially without chad here for her first day) but i'm pretty confident that she'll LOVE it. hopefully, i'll have a great update. . .insert prayers here, please. ;)
this past weekend was fun-filled and non-stop. friday night, chad and i enjoyed a date night (thank you, aunt sherri) where we went to meet greer and her sweet baby, mary britton.
she is just gorgeous and snuggling with her (at piedmont hospital) sure made me anticipate doing the same with gabby in 10 weeks. chad was so cute holding her, she was posing in the cutest positions as we gushed over every sweet move she made. i spent hours nesting afterwards and am feeling time closing-in just a bit. undoubtedly, because it is - - hello!
on saturday,
amy (my beautiful friend and newly minted photog) met us at the monastery to capture some belly shots for posterity. i LOVE amy j. - - so any excuse to hang with her is plain blissful. here are some of my favorites (with more of my actual belly to come).
